“TO GRANDMA’S HOUSE WE GO!” is a fun, interactive romp along a game-board path to Grandma’s House. Game pieces consist of colorful cardboard children in cute convertible cars, and a pack of color-coded cards, which players pick to move forward. Mixed into the deck are activity cards that ask players to do something fun, like give another player a hug, name their favorite food, or say “I love you!” In this way, the road to Grandma’s is paved with laughter and shared experiences, and playing the game together enriches family bonds. Plus, at the end of the game, there’s a surprise: children lift the red plastic roof of Grandma’s 3-D house, and find a treat their grandparent (or another adult) has placed there. The surprise can be as simple as a sticker or a piece of candy, or it can suggest a follow-up activity to do together, such as bake cookies, read a book, or go to the park. And since the grandkids won’t know what’s hidden in the house, it keeps them guessing…and coming back for more!
“TO GRANDMA’S HOUSE WE GO!” is for children ages 3+, 2-4 players. The deck contains shape, color, and activity cards (which require reading). For younger children, playing without an adult, remove the activity cards and use the shape and color cards only. Instructions are provided in the game box, in English and Spanish. | |
